What does “feeding your baby in any way mean?” Balanced Breastfeeding is an inclusive space for any lactating parent. It is a space for those who make a full supply of breastmilk for their babies, and those who combination feed with any amount of formula. It is a space for those who express their milk with a breast pump and those who nurse their babies by latching directly at the breast.
If you are postpartum, make milk, or are pregnant and hope to make milk, these groups are for you.
This Week’s Topic: Pumping for a Purpose
Know the purpose of pumping. We get clear on the why, when and how to express milk with a breast pump.
Learn how to comfortably and effectively remove milk from your unique breasts with your breast pump. Set realistic expectations of how much milk your breasts will produce when pumping and how much you desire to store in the freezer. Learn best practices for fitting your breast flange, cleaning your pump parts, and storing your expressed milk.
